How reliable is the system? Here in Europe, some firms stopped selling the adapter / switch due serious electrical fault / short-circuits caused by the adapter. Are there other producers of the item & is there any difference between them. Did you hear about someone who had their electrical system burned by this automatic switch?

Is the manual switch is more reliable. How does the automatic switch charging both batteries in parallel or it has a separate connection to charge the battery no. 2 completely separate from the rest of the system?

Tiger Racing

Unsure confused speculator

I have the manual switch by Tiger Racing. Not a big deal to flip the switch after start up. Never had any problems.

I believe that they were both made by Guy at Tiger and sold by Schnitz. And Guy at Tiger racing only sells the manual one . So maybe he knows something

No it was not Guy:

Answer from Tiger Racing

"We no longer sell the automatic version due to manufacturer stopping its production. Tiger Racing did not make this device, only marketed it. We have no further information about this product.

Guy Caputo "

No supplier & manufacturer & definitift possibly the one to provide support is Sims Motorsport acc. their website has also stopped selling the product.

Question has any experience with the automatic switch & knowledge of why no one wants to acknowledge it now and even less to sell it??
