being that i know no people in motorcycle drag raceing(on the track) i need some decent web sites of parts suppliers, info on technique and tuning.

I would like to Bracket race the bike this upcoming year, all the while making it a better bike. im leaning to just put a wheelie bar on, so then i can still have a bike that can turn in the twisties and be a daily driver. Where do you draggers get your parts and info?? Note im talking pure drag stuff, i know where to find the show and some go stuff, but im in need of the go like a bat out of hell equipment.

On second thought... You might want to check out Schnitz Racing.com

Go here Psychobike You also don't need a bar to go fast or be consistant, all you need is to learn how to drag race. I raced my stock wheelbase busa all last year and got fourth place in points, and was running 6.20's every pass. IMO bars are for people that can't race fast street bikes.

The reason i am considering wheelie bars is that the fastest bike at the last drag day i was at was a stock wheel base kaw. somethin. seemed like all he did to the frame/sus. was the flat slick and the bars. isnt it easier to be consistent with the wheelie bars?? What are the downfalls?(besides weight)

Practice is the biggest factor in being consistant! No matter what you decide to set-up, nothing can make up for good ole fashioned practice. Now, with that said.....
Things that will make a Busa faster.
1. MONEY!
2. Practice
