Thanks for the post max. I just asked him about the tires, awaiting his response. I'd definitely be taking it out on the highway before I purchase the bike. I'll definitely make sure I listen to it as it starts, and do the roll test and go through second gear. I asked for $4,500 and he said he'll think about it.

Make sure the vin on frame and engine match and run it. My friend just got a bike from CL and the engine was hot but the frame wasn't

He said he'll think about the $4,500 offer. Talked about putting it on eBay but I warned him that eBay does a bone job on the fees. So it's a waiting game. I figured for $4,500 it'd be worth it.

He said he's had the same tire on he's owned it, but that's only been 400-500 miles. Apparently it's a situation where he bought it but then needs money now. He seems like a real nice guy, and I can only hope that's the real reason he's selling it.
