If you're into a hundred hp...
Sure, I don't use nearly the power most of my bikes have...most of the time.
But, I like to have big power on tap when I do.

I am seriously thinking about a new Buell.
The HammerHead, and the more upright version have been around for several years now, and seem to be very good bikes in general.
No, they only have a few dealers with them in stock, but their Service Center list is quickly growing, so parts and service don't seem to be a problem, and on bikes that don't seem to have any major issues.
And...And...you can order one online, a $50 refundable deposit to have them call you, and a grand for them to proceed with the build, which you have options...and they'll deliver it right to your door.
I really can't buy another bike at the moment, but since I want a new bike, but still want an old TL1kR for the V-twin engine...a new HammerHead would check both boxes...hmmm
I Always dreamnt of an American Superbike, and it's been here for a couple years now...I will have one...

They are super fun! But I don't know if that's a great price. Mine was used, like most things in my life

The HammerHead starts about the price of a Gen3, and the new Buells are all Buells...no Hardly-Ableson engines.
I really like the built to order and shipped to you business model too.
I'm at the point in life where the chances of me buying new cars/bikes is close to zero. I like having no payments for toys...

Famous last words, right? LOL

Does Buell make their own engines?

I remember at one point they were using Rotax engines from Austria....

My brother's RT is so effortless to cruise on it's scary......100 mph on that thing feels like you are just riding along, no drama, engine noise, wind, nothing.....

They are very deceptive like your Gold Wing.......

I kind of yearned for a BMW 1200S at one point.........it has the right colors......

Yes sir, I've been watching them since they announced their official comeback about 5 years ago, with their first new model in 2022.
Now here we are with 2025 models(time flies doesn't it), and they have proven to live up to the hype...which leads me to the dilemma I now have...wanting to buy one, knowing I can...but I'm trying to be practical with 2 teenagers and one about to start driving...but their sales model really appeals to me; phone calls, options, build updates...then they ship it to your house.
I Really Need a V-twin sportbike...and American at that...

I sold mine.
What I liked about it, was doing a full 10,000 mile service, everything in the manual, took me around 40 minutes.

Since I don’t do this often, forget how I did it the last time, it takes me longer than that to remove and replace fairings on the Busa, to get to the oil filter.

Seems like a OK price for a 2015 R9T, not a killer deal but not overpriced either. If you're really interested in owning one checkout cycle trader and see what others are asking for similar year/mileage R9T's. They're around 110 HP which is plenty to have fun on back roads and twisties but of course doesn't come close to a Hayabusa in terms of performance.

I have a R1250RT as my main bike, and its a great bike to eat the miles up on.
The engine is very good and pulls well. I get over 50mpg (uk) and have even had it up in the high 60's mpg (riding like my granny drives).
The 12k service is the one that costs as its the valve check one at around £500GBP. But i bought all the BMW tools for doing it myself, these cost me just over £400. Which i know i can sell on when the time comes.

Buell hasn't been associated with HD since they dropped him about 15 years ago.
Buell has their own engines now, but I'm not sure if they manufacture them or buy them now, but they aren't Harley-Davidsons anymore...and it's HD's loss too...dummies

I read the engines are based on the Rotax models they previously used....
