Glowing kanji symbol on windscreen?

The other day, I saw a busa with a glowing kanji symbol on the windscreen. Has anybody else seen this? Does anybody know where to purchase it?

If it was glowing, it was one of three things
1. Reflective tape in the shape of the Hayabusa Kanji
2. Luminous paint on the screen
3. Gator Glass

Was the screen painted? Did it look like a light coming from under the screen? Any chance you got a pic?

I don't have a picture. I forgot about the gator glass thing. What is that again? It didn't seem as though any light was behind it though.

I work in the car audio industry and we have a costom plastic no thicker than paper that when you apply voltage it glows and can be cut into any shape or size

Was it a Busa on this board? shibumi posted a pic of his new PUIG windscreen with a Kanji on the windscreen, but it wasn't glowing.

Nope, the busa was not off of the website.

That would be Gatorglass.

could also have simply been EL tape.....as much simpler and less expensive solution.

Been using it in custom PC builds for a couple of years.

Another cool alternative is "etching" (not using acid by the way) I did a kanji on a buddy's screen a while back, looked realy cool. Plus you can get just about anything you wanted done. Check out www.paintbyjohn.com under "glass etching"
