Gearing

Hi, I am new to this forum and am working on put a busa motor in a sled and have a few Qs about gearing I need to the final ratio and also what gear the shootout bikes use, also how many gears do they use. I did'nt think they use all the gears. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Try a 16 tooth (1 down) up front. It'll make that Busa more peppy. If that's not enough, then swap in a 42th rear. That's what i'm currently running (16/42). Wheelies are effortless.

Do you mean you are going to adapt a busa engine to a car? If so, there are many factors that need to be considered.
Car's weight?
Tire size?
Desired top speed?
Desired quarter mile time?
Engine build/mods?
