Gas Lines dry rotted

Gas lines dry rotted so I went and bought new gas line at autozone and installed..

Rode her around the block put it the garage feeling good and boom it died and will not start..

Now I'm sure theres a kink but should I mess with it and try to get the kink out or order new preformed lines from Suzook?

Did you try and use the stock spring over the new hose? I ended up putting the stock spring on my aftermarket fuel hose when I added my turbo in the spring and it has worked well. But it might save a headache in the future if you replace it with the preformed hose.

If you look under fuel cock (model X/Y) #5 feed hose is about $6 and under pump assembly (model X/Y) #32 return hose for about $6 also.

Like I said many guys including me have went with aftermarket fuel hose with no problem, but then again???

Yes i did try the spring over the new line didn't fit..

So I just went ahead and ordered new OEM lines..
