look at my graph as you see after I add the fuel, I lost power, you said you gained 13 .
This is why I told you to step up to the plate and let a real tuner find the problem BEFORE you toast something

Dam Johnny, that avatar fits your online personality perfectly. Every time I see that thing I laugh. Al bundy is the man. F##king hilarious.

Johnny,

I enjoy learning how these things work inside and out. Not everyone likes to do that. That is why they go to you or some other tuner to hook them up with a tune.

As for you having to take out fuel to gain power...I know it is because you start off rich and then tone it back. You have years of experience that allows you to be able to do that. That's awesome:bowdown:

Since this was the first time I put my bike on the dyno (turboed) and it wasn't fat, it was slightly lean and let me add that it wasn't enough to even be concerned about. I know you would say "it was still lean and could have blown up". Yes, yes I could have blown it up...WHOOPTY F**CKIN' DO! If it did, that would give me an excuse to build the motor and go do it again, CAUSE THAT IS WHAT I LIKE TO DO!!!

I WILL figure out what is causing the low numbers. And when I do and it makes the power I am looking for. I'm going to put a smile on my face and feel completely satisfied that I was able to accomplish my goals without having to take my bike to someone and have them tune it and not tell me what they did. That way I would have to bring it back to them to get it tuned again when I upgrade things on my bike. And I will upgrade cause I that is who I am.

Anyway…

If you are not interested in helping...then I prefer that you didn't post anything because I didn't ask you anything until you decided to chime in on my post and say something vague about my dyno sheet. And when I did ask you what you were talking about, you go and spit in my face by posting up a graph to boast about your skills and say to me...

This is why I told you to step up to the plate and let a real tuner find the problem BEFORE you toast something

Well Johnny, you showed everyone you’re the man, good job.

The only thing I can offer is make sure the plugs are gapped at .02 or less. Tune is the most important thing on a turbo bike. And don't trust the stock cylinder head bolts.
Good luck, once you iron out the probs its a blast!

I am glad you have enough money to mess stuff up and fix it again and again . but not enough to have it tuned.

Strapped the bike down earlier. It made 211.6hp on the last pull. I was mainly trying to get some info on drivability and some AF info on the top end. Blah blah, anyway here is the dyno sheet:

Where are the A/F numbers?? That info could put you in the right direction. Keep us informed. :beerchug:

Put in new NGK (CR9E) plugs gapped at 0.020". The bike sounds great, even above 8000rpms; it doesn't miss or stumbe at all. It's a blast to ride, even with "only 211hp"!

The A/F numbers from the first run to last where: 14.0 , 13.5 , 12.7

I'm making plans to take the bike to a different dyno shop this week or next. I'll keep you guys informed.

hey johnnycheese, why is it so hard for you to get over yourself and understand some of us like to work on our bikes all by ourselves. Maybe put up a post or two to point us in the right direction. Are you so easily offended at the idea that someone dosn't want you to tune their bike that you have to post and make fun at them. So his dyno sheet dosen't look like yours, dosen't mean it won't. People can easily tune there own bikes as this forum has clearly beyond the shadow of a doubt proven. I can tell you that he has at most only 3 pulls on the dyno and he's only 20 or so hp from where he wants to be. Are you saying that you tune a bike in 1 pull and its good to go:rofl:

so let me look at this.
he post a graph and I said there is something wrong.
so I post help that the cruve is not right.
he says what?
I post that he need to get to someone that can tune before he toast something.
then I get blasted for being an A$$.
gee I have no idea where I get a bad internet personallity:whistle:

people can tune their own.
but you need tools, and yes I bet he can wrench and learn stuff but a typical toast on a boost bike is no less than 2K.
as for one pull. I would have stopped YES there is something wrong with that motor, on a boost bike the curve does not fall off.
go ahead and find yet another tuner and good luck but I would fix the problem and quit running it on a dyno.

PS 12.7:1 WILL TOAST A BOOST BIKE:banghead:
but then again I know nothing:thumbsup:
