FAN TEMP RELOCATION MOD QUESTION??

I've just done the FAN TEMP SENSOR MOD and I can't get my RT side fairing to fit properly without possibly braking the connector. Has anyone else have this problem and found a fix? I"ve re-adjusted the switch and hose clamps. It made a little difference, but not enough as to where I can secure back together. Here are some pics to what I'm taking about. These do not show the how I adjusted everything for more cleareance.

you put the switch relocator in the wrong spot. it needs to go further back towards the seat. Instead of in front of radiator put it inline between radiator and mounting point. If my digital worked, I would show you mine...

In your first picture it should go about the spot where you can use the hose at the bottom going to the radiator.

So I should have move it back towards the seat. Yeah that might work. Because I had to force it together up front with the fairings. It's a tight fit as it is now. I saw another board member with this mode, and he had no issues. It's beyond me why my bike would be different.

You know it took me four days to get all the air out of my radiator so I'm not sure if I'm ready to fool with that part of my bike again. LOL. Can I still make the change w/o purchasing another hose? And if so how much? I'm gonna call you later about some other items. Thanks
