Extended swingarm stand

I haven't found a swingarm stand for extended arms. (Well, one that I could afford!) So I decided to make extensions for mine. I got a 10' piece of electrical conduit from Lowes, cut it to the length I needed, and drilled and bolted it where my stand comes apart. The extensions can be removed and put back to normal length. It was only $12 in parts!

Looks good and seems to work fine.

Way to think outside the box.


When I ran across the same problem I made this, Just rolled the bike ontop and the stock stand would fit under the bike.

do they make a non spool lift setup? if so you may be able to contact trex and get just that piece.

The T-Rex stand has non-spool lifts with it. You just have to pull the spool holder out and rotate it 180 degrees. I like using the spools becuse it can't slide off the sides.

i dunno bout the trex but for my bike to come off the pitbull it would basically have to be hit by a car.

you could also get a harbor freight chock then lift by the non spool arm if you wanted. but if its working finr then
