I also like using my crock pots (I have 6 different sizes). Get home from a 10 hr day, dinner is ready. Can't go wrong. As a matter of fact I'm doing chili in one of 'em tomorrow and last week I did an 8 lb chicken.

Brisket is to be smoked.

If you cant cook it for 12 hours on the grill we have a grocery store called HEB that has a pretty good precooked brisket. Cook it in the oven for 1-1/2 hour and...Bam!! quick and delicious brisket.


I didn't know Northerners knew about brisket??
