Well I've had my 05 Busa for less then a month and the modding has already begun.

First to go was that exhaust. Found the M4 Dual Drag during my searching and I'm glad I did. Picked it up last week and it is one best looking and sounding exhaust. It cuts so much fat off this bikes tail end compared to the stock exhaust.

I also picked up a Puig Dark Smoke screen since everyone mentions the quality is better then the ZG screen that it came with. I have to agree as the lines are much better and it feels sturdier.

Did a bit more trimming on the fender and installed a CA smoke ribbed tail light. A huge improvement over the stock signals. Might still be going with a undertail soon though.

I met Doyle aka: Raydog recently as we are both Reno residents and he was very helpful and kind enough to show me some of his mods.

Soon to be installed mods that are en-route are Galfer brake lines and Throttlemeister which I ordered from Pashnit by Raydog's suggestion.

Last item on the way are CA smoke ribbed front signals to match the rear and some HID's as the stock headlights suck as we all know. I did put some Silverstar Ultra Bulbs in which were a huge improvement but the HID's seem to have such a huge following here, I have to find out for myself what I am missing.

Future mods will be ASV levers and a gear indicator. Not that I really need it but I like toys.

Thanks to Doyle and the org. as you have all been very helpful with my new found love.

Here's a couple before and after pictures.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Actually my prior bike an FZ1 got me hooked on the mod bug. Luckily for my wallet, I don't feel the Busa needs to be modded as much. I'm very happy with the suspension and power. Just a few cosmetics to make her my own and she'll be all done. The Givi case that came with it and the Tank bag really help for saving on the necessary traveling components.
