I think if you're going to run that's the best place to do it !!! Sidewalks, oneways, traffic, on highways you can't out run the radio, but that's just me. Not that I would run on my Busa, but in my teen years on dirt bikes in the city, there was NO WAY you were getting caught. You can flame me if you want, but I'm no longer that person. I just won't run from a cop.....but that's not saying I won't make fifty turns, while they're turning around
 
The reckless one there was the cop, I can't believe that a-hole didn't sideswipe at least ten cars, all for what?  Speeding?  Apparently the rider didn't do anything too radical to just get escorted by the arm to the car.

How easy would it have been for the cop to run down a pedestrian?

And the rider!  What a loser!  Can't lose a car in dense city traffic on a motorcycle?

You don't need to outrun the radio unless they get close enough to nab your license #...in which case they don't need to chase you anyways. All you need is to lose visual with the officer, then you can claim you are a different bike. Unless of course your bike has something distinctive on it or your gear is such...but normal bike and normal gear. It won't hold in court if the officer lost sight of you.

Apparently all of you guys are used to very nice cops. I was actually shocked that it ended with the cop crashing the guy and then the guy jumps up as if nothing just happened and then the cop doesn't even scream at him that he could have killed anyone or why didn't you stop or anything! It was as if the whole thing was choreographed or something. Maybe they're like the sheep dog and wild e. coyote from the looney tunes shows. They wake up, do the same thing everyday and then punch out. "See ya tomorrow Sam."
