I think there is a little exaggeration going on here. I've shot tandem video. It is true a tandem pair without a drogue can haul ass, but it still takes them 15 seconds to reach it - and the bird was loose when they left. Once they toss the drougue, they slow back down into the 120-130 range or slower. Still an amazing video and I'd sure like to go along and watch that bird in a full head-down dive.
