What’s the best chain and sprocket configuration for a gen.1 street and weekend track day?

I went with the EK ZVK3 chain and Vortex aluminum rear sprocket. Not sure if it's "the best" but so far so good. The EK 3D chain looks nice too but I'm not sure the additional cost justifies the extra strength on a 200 or less HP street/strip bike.

17/40 is stock
16/40, 17/42, 17/43, 16/42, or 16/43 will really give it a low/mid range noticeable improvement.
An ecu flash helps too, more lower rpm timing.

ZVX3 chain and Vortex steel sprockets. that's been my flavor the last few times I have swapped new sets on and have no complaints.

+2 or +3 rear really wake this thing up too.

What’s the best chain and sprocket
configuration for a Gen 1 Hayabusa
street and weekend track day ?

There are many variables about yourself & your bike ~ stock gear ratio can pretty much do it all fairly well *
