Sh!t, Windscreen didn't make it there yet I take it? Let me know if it doesn't show up by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I mean I sent it regular postal on Tuesday, I didn't even think the Postal Service could be this slow...
It is traveling diagonally, corner to corner across the Country, but I thought it should be there by now...

Looking good BTW Cache Now ... Lemme know when it gets there Bro.

Looking good cache. In your opinion, if you had frame sliders, would have the damage been less to your stator?

gcal, you didnt show... what a day. long story.

Revlish, I had it, just not on in that photo. EVERYONE at the track liked the screen!

maoz, frame sliders would not have helped. this thing flipped and flopped. I saw it in the air, about 8ft high at one point.

moved some thangs around today, thought I would post a pic of what I rode sunday....

1st of all, VERY scared to ride after what happend, and it's been 6months since last vroom.
sunday, hit my normal mph of 143, with problems in 1st and 2nd gears... so, all-in-all, good mph's means motor is strong as hell, and hitting the gas hard in 3rd and still getting the mph means the bike is strong and LIGHT!!! she lost another 32lbs from last time.

here is an after-race photo.

And you may be interested to know that we're also fabbing a handlebar mount.  In fact, that's taking precedence over the extensions...
LCW, please let me know about this. I already got some extensions... (very cheap if anybody wants to hit me up for some) , but the reaper risers are a bit of a stretch... I would like to get my handlebars down further for my body weight to be lower.... hit me up brah.

Cache, glad to see you're turnin' good mph's. The Busa looks like a beast! A pissed off beast. Now that you're off-road and all with the Bus' will we see some of that stuff that comes in blue bottle with nice anodized fittings on your whip?

not sure yet.... wanna see what stock motor bus can do.
my bud on his (all the cheap/free mods can possibly be done and he put custom ground cams in) went 8.84 at the end of last season.
I would guess with 162hp and all the right combinations I can get into the 9.20's within the next month or two. that's my goal.

Unfortunately, my dad has been out of town a bunch recently, and will be the next few weeks, so no progress on the handlebar mounts. Glad you found extensions on the cheap. My bike is still stock due to our unforseen circumstances. Excuses excuses. Sorry man, but good to see ya back on the track!

Good looking bike! What kind of 60' and 330' are you doing? What is your wheelbase now? my guess is right about 62". And where all do you race at? Are you going to be going to any Prostar or MIRock races?  I know, I know alot of questions. Good luck and be safe. I'm working the bugs outta my bike and me right now. My best so far is a 9.29 @ 152. The bike is set at 60" now.

Jim
