busa oil capacity ??

A friend and I changed the oil in our Busa's today. I noticed that the manual says 3.5 qts with filer change. Well it took nearly 4 qts. to get the oil to the fill line, and yes we waited an hour with the oil fill cap off to check the level. I know too much oil is bad, but I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary than really smooth shifts and the motor being more quiet.

Could the manual be inaccurate / will a half quart hurt anything. With the bike on a level surface the oil level is exactly at the "F" line on the window. Thanks for your

Nearly 4 but not quite. You should be fine. Watch your level after a couple of rides and see if you maintain at mark.

factory says 3.5 qt but to be full. but usually takes more to be full.
