I just wanted to make a post about something that has really been bothering me lately. This year all the talk seems to be on the new ninja and how refined and wicked it is and yadda yadda yadda. Now granted I will say that is a wicked bike. I am not gonna say it has more nuts than the busa I see them as whoever is a better rider is gonna take the win. However there is one thing about this bike I totally disagree with. The LOOKS! I mean I don't see where everyone is so falling for this bike. I think the fairing is very cheesey looking and cheap. It does not appeal to my eyes. The molding and cut ins on the side fairings are horrible and the cowl over the front wheel I would just assume not even be on there. I like the air intake from the front but from a side profile it just looks like Kawi forgot to finish molding the nose. I don't know what it really is but this is not a good looking bike at all to me it just looks like a ton of money invested into a hopped up engine and two wheels with no looks. The one thing that appeals to me about the busa is the fact that it is as powerfull as it is but still looks so damn sexy. But I guess there are some people out there that think the busa is ugly to. I guess if the busa didn't exist my money even though the Kawi has more power would go to either the R1 because as far as looks go that thing is ultra fuggin sexy or the cbr1000rr. Both os those bikes look and perform awesome and appeal to me way more than the Kawi. But this seems to be the year of the ninja and I don't feel these bikes get the attention they deserve. I just wanna kinda get a poll here and see if I am alone on this one. Once again sorry train I know you are gonna read this. I am not trying to knock your ride I just wanna see how off my opinion is.

Seriously though, styling and looks are subjective. Some think the busa is butt ugly. We all know that ain't true. Some love Honda's styling but I think they are easily the ugliest of the new bikes. Some think the R1 is pure sex, while others think it looks like crap. At first I liked the R1 better than the 10, but after spending time around both when I was shoppin' I changed my mind. There are a few things about the R1 that don't stand out in pics, but just don't look good in person. I think the R1 photographs extremely well. Better than the 10 even. However, in person and especially from ridin' position the 10 is more subtle and understated, but far better looking to me.
I'd be ok with it if nobody else in the world liked the styling of the 10. No need to apologize to me because you don't like the styling of my ride. I didn't style it, I only pimp it.
