Hello everyone! I have a 2004 modell Busa with Wiseco 13:1 drop-in pistons, Yoshimura Stage-1 cams, Orient Express intake valves with original exhaust valves, and Kibblewhite (i think)50 Lbs. valve springs, and original cam chain tensioner. A few days ago i goes about 10000 rpm. at 5-th gear, and bike was run out of steam, FI light is on, I tried restart, but not started, but abnormal noise (clatter, clank) not was. In home i disassembled, and diagnosed the cam chain is broken, 11 valve of 16 bent, some valve guide and valve seal was out, and a pair of crank pin bearing injured. :unhappy:
Which cam chain is recommended? Original or i read the heavy duty Vance and Hines one. What do you think about manual cam chain tensioner, how often need adjust if i use the bike on the street?

Please help, if you can!

Best regards: Istvan from Hungary

I am sorry to hear that! The opinions cam chain adjusters are mixed. I put in a ape manuel adjuster with a stock cam chain.
