Brand New 2022 Gen 3 Hayabusa Clicking Engine noise

Maybe this sound is just extra noise cause of thinner case walls which on previous gen busa are thicker hence more insulation , plus who faced this noise are running stock quiet exhaust, so engine noise is more heard.

I quietly smile when people complain about head noise on a high-performance bike. In all my years of riding, I've never owned a bike that doesn't make clicking noises when hot. You should've heard my previous S1000RR - it actually sounded like it was going to blow on idle, like a can with nails being shook. My gen 3 sounds exactly like in the video above, and it's completely normal. Unless you hear obvious slapping or knocking, I'd ignore all clicking noises from this motor (and all other high-performance motors for that matter).

EDIT: After taking the engine cover off my partner's Mazda 3, let it idle and... click, click, clickedy, click!

When I was a service writer at a Toyota dealership, whe had a masonry wall on the lot that I could roll by with a customers vehicle with the window down trying to duplicate noises. Sometimes it worked. Reflecting the noise off the hard surface back to my ears.

Agree and disagree at the same time, my previous gen1/2 busas and zx14 havent such ticking/clicking sound when hot and all were high performance bikes, kawa h2 as well sounds like sewing machine. If bmw cannot make engine silent doesnt mean japanese cant

If any of my current Suzuki's didn't make some ticking noise when hot, I'd worry something's wrong!
