How are you supposed to help? The crazy man has a hammer and is probably on drugs.
Do you think it would be worth risking your life for a total stranger? I don't.
With all the crazy ****s out there these days, people just don't want to get involved.

In re: "They need to make public violent executions public to put the fear in anyone that even thinks they can get away with something like ths!"

You know, history didn't start with our society. Historically, that used to be the law in a number of places, England included...and it didn't work! All illegal acts, no matter how minor, were deemed to be acts against the State and punishable by death. At a public hanging for some pick pockets, dozens of pockets were picked. Deterrent? Violent public executions are not what civilized people aspire to. This guy was crazy and should definately be locked up for everyone's safety. To execute him, violently, in public is ridiculous and NOT what America is about.

Whatever, you'd be singing to a different tune if it was your 5 yr. old daughter. The world shouldn't have to put up with chit like this.

Agree. How about that man who murdered mom/dad/older brother, then kidnapped the young boy and girl, raped both of them and then made the little girl watch as he killed her brother. The guy had already raped a little boy before, murdered someone else, yet he was still on the streets. It's a shame, but I would have no problem seeking my own justice if something like this ever happens to me or my family. I would make sure I handled his a** just like Carl Lee did.

We live in a "someone should do it for me" society. "It is someones elses job."

Makes me sick.

I like how the big man sitting there just takes off as soon as he sees the first hit. The guy that fled is just as big a douche as the one swinging the hammer. At least the psyco had "um, psyco" as a defense for this act.

I just had my wallet stolen and have the tape of where they used it. People just watching, even the store owner letting people steal gas with my bank card. Nothing like this, but WTF!!!!!!!!

It's not so much just the crazy man with a hammer I might get hurt. If I had shot this guy I most likley would have gone to jail for my trouble.

If everyone there helped. Sure some might of got hurt. But maybe that boy won't be eating through a straw for the rest of his life either. It is a chicken chit ecxuse for not helping. it went on for five minutes. How many people stayed around to talk to cops?? No danger there. And the guy in the video that ran away is huge. Him and another person could have stopped the psyco.

I garuntee you that if two people had jumped on him it would have stopped. Hell if someone would have confronted him the coward would have probably ran.

If I was there, I would have been on him. No doubt he could have hurt me, but I will make him pay for it. There is no reason for a person not to help another in touble. The guy who ran could have easily overpowered the pscyo.

Just crazy that not a person helped him.

And if you read the article, even after the guy left, no one helped him. The hammer man had left and no one helped. That says sad things about our society.

Sorry if these are a little violent for some people, but hitting a kid with a hammer, doesn't deserve any sympathy

take out a knee, that will drop a big guy, just ask QB brady.
grab his head and twist, that will give him a pain in the neck
jab a pencil/pen into his head

there are many things you could do that would be effictive, but sitting there or running away isn't one of them

I'm all for second chances, after that prison, and get rid of all the plush things there. No tv, weight rooms---wtf, why make them bigger, no fancy meals, just basics.
prison needs to be a place you never want to go back to, not a country club you can't leave!

Who cares if the injection hurts a little, what they did to get to that point hurt someone a lot more than the injection will hurt them. :banghead:

Ok, off my rant for now
