Back of the Dragon
Tazwell Va
Me and 2 or 3 of my friends will be out there this Friday morning, 6-30-23.
Probably get there between 11am and noon for lunch.
We will be meeting at the Sheetz in Rocky Mount, Va, accross from Walmart, at 830am
No highway or Interstate either.
A '23 Bmw S1kR, a Buell, possibly a Honda dual sport(and yes, he can hang, lol) and me on the '18 Gsxr1k.
If anyone is out, or along the way, let me know.
After we pass Rocky Mount(about 30-40 minute ride from my house) we will get on the Blue Ridge Parkway south of Mabry Mill, and take that as far south as we can, before turning north towards Tazwell.
Most all of this will be a new ride for me, as I've only been on a few of these roads, and a long time ago.
(I can't find a picture of his Buell right now).
Anyone?

Man, I was thinking of doing the Back of the Dragon again this summer. Can't this weekend though. I like the dragon better but those are some really fun roads too. Be careful.
