I'd bet that when the rear broke loose, he gasped to himself noting that he was about to die, butt clenched the seat, snapped off the throttle about 12% (prolly 2% more than he wanted to) held his breath tightly while counter steering and counter balancing his way through the fishtail, realized he was still upright, attaboyed himself at the death cheat, made a mental note not to get so tight to that curb ever ever again, and got right back after it with ever improved instincts.
