Anyone know powder color for limitted black??

I sent a bunch of parts off to get them powder coated to match my limitted frame....they do not know what color of powder to order.

I can tell that it has a little sheen to it.

They said I could get matt black, or 30-40% black?

Its going to be a flat black with some gloss additive.

They will have to play with it to get it exactly right, most places wont invest that time.

We can try to match it if you want.

I know I can beat their prices.

You also need to decide it you want the finish smooth or slightly textured. If you run your hand along the frame or the arm you'll find it's not mirror smooth like youre going to get with standard powdercoat. My coater used black mini-tex or something to that order. There are so many shades and textures of black available it rediculous and you could literally spend hours comparing paint chips trying to find the perfect match.

Well the bummer of the deal is that they already have my parts and have done several chrome and polished parts for me.....

So I am going to have to wing it I guess....

I don't have any paint chips to give them it will be going on a brand new bike with 0 miles....

I just realized that they have my fork ends...those should be pretty close to the same as the frame

I'll just ask them to match the powder best they can on them.....
