anyone know how to get the needles off the gauges

trying to put on some new faces and cant seem to get the needles off anyone know how dont want to break them

take small flat head screwdriver and slowly wedge them up and they will come right off.

forks work well also.... why do you need to pull em? the gauges should slide over the top. Mine did..

i just put these new faces on they had to come off for that

Face plate would not slip over mine.
Also had to file the back side nub. So it would not rub the face plate and cause it to hang up.
