Damage doesn't look too bad, but I know it hurts to see her like that. The ride did look excellent! She'll be right as rain soon and you will have learned a good lesson.

Glad you're OK. Those ride pics look incredible. What a beautiful place to ride! I'd probably have done the same thing if I was tempted by roads as sweet as those.

It was only a few days ago when I posted that dragging your knee on the street was "stupid".

Well, I never drug my knee, but looking back, I was just that......stupid. This machine can be a drug!

Oh well, like you all said, it's a good thing it was the bike and not me. It's also a good thing that I went off the RIGHT side of the road. The left has about a 60' drop. wouldda been a spectacular crash!

Here is what is busted;
1.) front main fairing.
2.) RF blinker (clear)
3.) lower RH fairing
4.) RH mirror
5.) Frt fender
6.) bar end
7.) RH can
8.) RH pipe has some small dings, but I can live with that.
9.) LH lower fairing has some paint gone on edge where my leg blew over it, but I can live with that too. Little touch-up & no one will notice...
10.) Brace that holds center fairing was bent a little, but I think once I pull it apart I can bend it back....already bent it some, enough to where the master cyl doesnt hit it..

Looked like one nice ride up to the sliding the bike into a ditch. I do know what you mean about the Busa being a drug and wanting to go faster and faster. She'll get you to go a little faster, then a little more, and then you find yourself flying along and enjoying the ride, its just PERFECT. Well, reality is the world around our PERFECT ride is not and no one has told the Busa this sad truth yet. She figures she is PERFECT, so the world she dwells in must PERFECT as well. I have found myself on the edge more than once, its GREAT!!!
Sorry she got damaged, but glad its only cosmetic... damn women and there face lifts, body mods, etc...
