I was in a line up at an auto parts store picking up some stuff for the fleet at work. Guy behind see's my uniform and figures out where I work. He says "Seen anybody drive an earth mover into a ditch lately?"

I said "I saw some poor bastid do it the other day."

He said "That was me."

I asked if he was the guy who also ruptured the gas line later that same day?

He said "Yup,that was me".

I kinda felt bad for the guy,I think he was just getting too old for the job.

I asked if he still worked for that company,,,the answer was no.

The pic shows his excavator on its side in a ditch he was digging,The boom swung over and took out the site foremans Ford truck. Later in the day he struck a gas line he forgot he had covered up with sand to dig himself outa the ditch.

Poor bastid,what a bad day.
