Just brought home my new boots yesterday. They fit like a glove and look great. I got rave reviews on these before buying. I was trying them on and a guy in the store wearing a neck brace explained to me he wrecked going 12omph at willow springs. He broke his neck in 4 places but his SMX's saved his feet. He was a little bummed the medics had cut them off but said they were 7 years old.

My question is, is there anything to do to improve dexterity with my left foot. I find myself fumbling for the shifter and have missed a few upshift. Leaving the calf strap looser seemed to help, but still some issues. Or should I just be quiet and get used to it?

Just wear them for a while and break them in. People will look at you funny but that is ok. You know that you are still cool

I felt the same way at first..... like racerV says...... wear them for a while and you will get use to them..... then if you ride without them you will think it feels wierd.

good luck
