A belated Christmas .org style....

Well, quick-n-dirty... I got into a conversation about wheelies, and stuff, and was asked what gearing I had, which was stock. Bren then offered to let me try a 43t sprocket he had, and I was very grateful, said it would be a little while. Well, a little while passed and Bren found the sprocket to not be safe for use, I was a little bummed but thought it was better than tossing my Busa from a wrapped chain or whatnot. Then, out of the blue, I get a pm from Bren basically paying it forward .Org style. He took the liberty to play santa...called up and had a new 43t sprocket sent to me! Even after several offers to cover it, or shipping etc. Bren held true to the .Org way and refused to allow that. I just rec'd the sprocket tonight, and will be installing it this w/e. I will update with my new found gearing impressions once installed and test ride is over. For now, I wanted to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the kindness from Brendan and the .Org. Thank you brother, and this token will come back to you ten-fold, you know this!

Wow...I just stumbled across this thread.

When I took off that 43 aluminum,it was out of flat from banging wheelies,and there was no way I was going to give him this. I really felt bad cause I had promised him the sprocket,that (runeight had passed along to me btw) that there wuz no way I was going to let this guy down.

I am glad to help you out,please let us know how you like the new gearing. It is gunna have a lot more grunt,so take it easy at first when snapping that throttle in 1st gear bud.
And remember,this change will affect your speed/odometer.
