My Galaxie belonged to my grandmother who lived in Arizona. After Vietnam mom and dad settled in Michigan and moved Grandma there as well. The old Galaxie was a rare rust free car in Michigan. After Grandma turned in her keys, my parents put the car in one of our barns for a time.

When I was 15 I got my permit, sold a calf, picked apples and bought the car for $300. I really wanted a Z28. But. She was a two door and looked OK.

Later I learned of the NASCAR history of the model. Sort of cool.

Yeah any big block, Ford or GM, resists revving to some extent. The midrange makes it a whole new ballgame. My dream car for years was a 428 ‘69 Mach I. I’d still take one lol.
Hi. I had 69 Mach 1 with a 351C. Also a 1967 with a 302 or a 289 forget witch one also a 1965 convertable 200 6 with a 3 speed. There is only 1 1963 Mustang if you look ot up you may find some pics. I will look fot the pics that I have of it.
