$99.00 undertails on ebay

From ebay, I ordered the undertail eliminator from Romes located in Brazil. For 100 bucks I said what the hell and took a chance. It took three weeks to arrive and all the while I was thinking I got took. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent finish and color match. All fiberglass contruction. DIY drill your own holes. Took me 5 hours to complete.
I've looked at all the undertails offered on the web, I like the stock tail light look the best. Pic attached

Here's another vote for THEMOTORHEAD's undertail on SH.org... Great fit, uses the stock tail light, and has tons of room for a slammed bike.

The only downside is that you lose some storage space in the tail section, but I have still managed to fit all my stuff in there.

With his you replace the whole undertail so there is no cutting of the old fender assembly.

The motorheads you don't have to cut.

I bought the nycparts undertail from ebay. At the time that I did the install, I did a lot of swearing, was really frustrated because it was a ##### to fit and it took a long time to complete the mod. I posted my thoughts on this board.

Now that it's been a few months and couple of thousand miles since I put it on, I have to say that I like it. The paint is a perfect match and the finish first class. The LED bulbs that were sent with the tail were crap and I had to replace them soon after the install.

So, my long term assessment is that it is OK. Looks pretty decent. If you decide to get one, be warned that the installation will be difficult. Also, purchase some good LED bulbs to replace the ones sent with the undertail.

I had bought that undertail thinking I was getting a deal. The quality was excellent. My only complaint was during the daytime, cars behind me couldn't see my tail lights.

God I hope so, I just bought one. I will see after the install. Not exactly the one I wanted but for the price it will do. Damn good price so I should be getting it next week. I need a hugger now to match. Will send pics once I get it installed.

Well I just finished my install of the cheap undertail from NYC. Great price and lots of cutting and trimming of the old fender to get it to fit. But it looks nice. Beats the prices of the expensive ones. The brakes are too bright but I am happy with the rest. So far pretty happy but lots of cutting. Instructions not good, but common sense helps. I have pics too.
