I THINK EVERONE MISSED THE POINT A BIGGER RIM ON REAR. NOT WIDER TIRE I WONT MORE TIRE ON THE GROUND GOING STRAIGHT FOR MORE TRACTION I AM NOT WORRIED ABOUT CORRNERS BUT MORE RUBBER FOR TRACTION WITHOUT MODS TO SWINGARM ANYONE KNOW CAN I PUT A 7" WIDE RIM? THEN MAYBE A 200 TIRE MORE RUBBER ON THE GROUND & STILL A LOT FOR CORRNERS
IF NOT HOW BIG CAN YOU GO?
THANKS

Bigger doesn't always mean better. The amount of traction you might gain is not worth changing the engineering of the bike. You can negatively upset the handling. Sometimes just changing the tire by 1 size larger makes the bike very unstable on the street. It's really hard to get the best of both worlds. Maybe have a spare rim with a slick.

Yes you can put a 7 in. rim on the back but if you want some hardcore traction stick a mickey street tire on there...it will give you more traction you can ever dream of. If that ain enough put a beadlock on there with a good tire and run 4-8lbs of air.. send pictures of the launch after you do it ok....
later.
