2 different keys for '04???

I just bought a used 2004, it came with two seperate keys. One for the ignition, the other for the fuel and glove box. is that correct? Bike's got 16k mi, could someone have changed the ignition system which required a new key? This sounds odd since my '01 GSXR600 uses just one key for everything.

With a new ignition key the first thing that comes to mind is an attempted theft. Any locksmith should be able to rekey the lock so you only need one key.
