The digital displays on my 1999 dash aren't working properly. Before I start tearing other dashes apart, for parts I'm wondering if anyone has seen this before and if there is a fix for it. Look at the clock and odometer in this pic. All the other gauges and lights work. Just the LCD displays are funky.

try unplugging your fuel pump / fuel level sender and see if the issue goes away

This is not the original dash. It's one I got recently. In this pic I plugged it into a perfectly working bike to test it out. So there is no issue with the bike itself. Litterally unplugged the dash on the bike and flipped the connector around and plugged it into this dash.

Well all I can tell you is I plugged in 220 speedo and it worked exactly like the 185 one did. With the exception of you need to calibrate the speedo for the corrected sweep.

But there were no issues in functions or displays.
