1507 cams

im building a 1507 and wondering what cams to go with. this bike is mainly a street ridden bike and weekend track bike. my builders likes 378 web intake and i think a 330 exhaust. do you guys like this cam size or should i go bigger

Most builders say that without pressing the guides down a 385 intake is the largest cam you can use!
Is your bike a gen1 or a gen 2?
How much maintenance are you able to do each year your self?
Or is money no object?

I have gen1. I wouldnt say money is no object but I am willing to pay to play. As far as maintenance goes I will have to pay valve train train work if I run huge cams. I guess I should really be asking how much am I really giving up with these cams instead of running the big ones. Btw I'm only getting mild head cleanup and a valve job. No port and polish. Thank you
