08 clutch assembly use on a 2000.Can it be done???

Can it be done?? As there are a few of these 08 clutch assembly going cheap on ebay.And my year 2000 Busa is beginning to have clutch slip. That is why I am thinking of buying the 08 clutch assembly and fix it to my 2000.

If you are talking plates, etc, Yes, it can be done.

If you want to use the slave cylinder or sprocket cover off of a gen 2, you have to use the whole assy. Pushrod, cover and slave

What i meant is the the whole complete clutch basket,inner basket and all...

If your clutch is slipping,those parts aren't what's making your clutch slip. You would waste money to change to them, if that's really not your issue. You will need fibers,steels and springs..
