Sorry the weather has been a little crappy the past few days. I'll wheel the bike out tomorrow and take some pics. The spools that I bought don't extend too far out beyond the swing arm.
I have a Hindle stand that was given to me by a friend and bought a generic set up spools from Royal Distributing. The stand hits the swing arm when the bike is lifted. Is there a specific stand or spools I need?
I'd say go for it! The weather doesn't look great here (Kitchener) for the next few weeks and you'll enjoy your bike that much more after getting it done. I only paid for standard shipping so you could likely expedite it for some extra $$$.
Yup I sent mine down a few weeks ago. Shipping will be around one week each way and you'll likely have to pay a customs fee to import your ECU back into Canada. Well worth the investment though. I might have to ship mine back down because I can't stop breaking the rear tire loose in first gear...
Anybody else running these tires? I had these put on at the end of last years season so no real experience with them. My only issue so far is I can break the rear loose in first gear religiously but they're still relatively new and it's still quite cold here.
$1000 a year in Canada with Statefarm. Bundled with car, house and life insurance plus additional loss of income coverage in case the unthinkable happened. 40 years old with clean record.
Got mine back today and although it's only around 34f I had to try it out. Kick in the pants is an understatement! I haven't ridden the bike in 5 months but I surely don't remember it pulling that hard. Plus the music that baby is singing out the exhaust and under the tank is amazing!
I guess I was just a little over anxious guys, I had no intentions of trying to discredit Murderedout07's reputation. My apologies to Murderedout07!
The border is a whole different story. After an hour of back and forth emails it has finally cleared customs. It sounds like UPS is going to try...
I was a little worried when my ECU is 1400 miles away and I wasn't able to get a response from them. They have apologized and provided a tracking number, all is well.
Has anybody that sent in their ECU had theirs shipped back yet? Mine was received a week ago and has not be shipped back. Boosted cycle was very prompt in responding to my private messages up until the point of receiving my ECU and now takes days to respond with promises that are never followed...
