Should be able to run serial number via zuki dealer and see if that bike requires the modification or if its already been done. It's doing exactly the same thing my '08 prior to the recall. G/L.
You know, those symptoms are exactly the same as on my '08 prior to getting the ignition replaced, and ignition cables re-routed per the factory recall. I believe a 10 amp fuse was popping. Happened three times before I could get it into the dealership. Been some time since the fix. Good luck.

That oil may be fine, but I quit using Castrol when Mobil sued them over the term synthetic (and lost). Basically the term synthetic doesn't really mean no dino oil in it. I like Amsoil 10-40w although it's expensive even with a discount. Harley didn't like synthetics for years but then realized...
Khrom, 16 and 17 have splits. Thought it was there but it may be in fairing. I guess its no big deal, but I dont like half done jobs, or parts laying on the pavement.....Thanks!
Could be from tank. Not C shaped, just a long retangle, with what remains of one sticky side. Did have tank up to release any air from system. Thanks all for ideas.
