well said c10. This is how we are trained on the sheriffs bikes. it is truly amazing the tight turning radius you can accomplish on a Harley (or any bike) using rear brake.

Michelin Pilot Roads. I currently have the 5's. I have always ran Michelin on my Busa's and have always felt confident and comfortable. I'm in the south and ride everyday rain or shine. Hot or cold.

I have snap-on. Bought it 27 years ago. Still works and looks great. If anything breaks snap -on will fix or replace. You get what you pay for. As stated in earlier post.

Awesome idea, the painters tape. And, yes, I'd remove cover also before washing. Ever have any trouble with painters tape after being heated from riding?
