Can you install the timer before the HID's? I imagine it would help halogen as well.

It was my right frame slider, buddy of mine rode it and i could hear better where it was coming from. Thanks for the help guys.

Its loose, no more than normal though. I can move the dampner up and down a little, but as far as side to side is concerned its just fine. I think thats how its been ever since ive had it.

Well i took the frame slider out in question and it still did it. The grommet that holds the right rear dash panel to the frame was tore, thought that might have been it, nope. Took the nose off and wire managed the hell out of the stuff in there, worthless (aside from me finally getting rid of...

My shop put one of my frame sliders in, but didnt use a spacer inside or outside it, could it be the bolt rubbing on something?

+1 I had a similar problem in my 03, but it was third gear just shy of 3k. Bought a tre on ebay for 25 bucks and that fixed it.

Read another post making me think it might be the brake line rubbing on something. Played with it this morning, ill let you know if that was it.

Im having that same noise, sounds terrible, ill check tomorrow, i hope its the same issue. Om amother post someone mentioned headbearings. What would be the benefits to going to replacing the stockers with tapered bearings?
