Just want to give my views on the Gen 3 headlight..... I've owned all 3 gens and the Gen 3 is not great... Yes its too low but the high beam is awful... Just gives a blanket of light everywhere with no real beam ahead.
Dipped for a 2021 bike should be on a gyro system to stay level through...
6 months in and still nothing sensible for the UK / EU market...just as well roads are getting greasy locally and the bike usage is slowing down... maybe next year the market and manufacturers will get it sorted.
All the ideas of swapping downpipes and single sided exhausts just doesn't do it...
why is everyone so hung up on self cancelling indicators... had them on one bike about 10yrs ago and they annoyed the life out of me ... spent way too much time glancing down to see if they were staying on when i needed them to.
to me some things are best left to the rider.
so fair to say you like the results... i know sports bikes have smaller tanks and can get from A to B faster but when touring range rules .. i used to hate stopping every 100-120 miles on 1k bikes when the Gen 1 and 2 Busa's could get 160-200... makes some difference to a days riding and route...
I tend to favour the BMC brand... Less oily and from tests done many years ago I heard they performed well so I've been using them on many of my Suzuki bikes.
Looking at that sprint unit I'd be keeping that for track use... No use for roads or in the rain
Is it not common for it to be illegal to have 'detector' devices these days...certainly is across most of Europe... though here in the UK we can still have them for now.
Sad thing is the little roadside speed signs , roadworks STOP /GO signs and even some traffic light systems trigger them...
not something i'd ever use but good spot.
Leave a helmet on a bike locally and you'd come back to an empty shell or someone would just cut the strap to really F with things
