Personally I like the looks of +10 the best, but when you push it out that far I think you need a wider rear tire. For stock tire size I like +4. I'm just going by looks, performance wise I have no idea. All I can say is my stock gen 2 handles a lot better than my 300 +10 gen 1 lol
Ya I have stock with the site glass. I believe it's just a stage two clutch with hd springs. He was explaining to me how the clutch disc pucks are wider for more strength and that's why clutch less up shifts are easier. Not sure if this sounds but this is what I was told
Good info.. Not sure if I have a two stage clutch offer just a strange two. . . stupid question but a two stage clutch would look like a big can sticking out of the right side fairing correct?
Thanks for the info guys, it's a pita cause you have to be very firm with the gear shifts but very controlled and slow for neutral.. Ya really wanna put an air shifter on it.. With the air shifter you just roll back the throat alittle and hit the button, no clutch either right?
My trans is built and the gears are undercut also i have a stage 2 clutch (forget brand). Neutral is very hard to find most of the time, sometimes especially when the bike is cooler its easier. Is this just the nature of a built trans? Also i was told when your getting on it you can upshift with...
I never fool around in 1st, always roll the throttle in 2nd. My gen 2 has mich pcp tires and will just lift the front tire alittle because I roll into it, my gen 1 blows the tire away at 70
I'm relatively new to Busa's but in my experience my gen 1 will spin easily because it's extended 10" and from the power. My gen 2 doesn't spin at all it just goes, I'd imagine in 1st it would pull the tire thou. Also my gen 2 has Michelin pcp tires so not sure how much that effects straight...
What kinda power you looking to make with the f1x, gotta be over 1krwhp.. I made 1030rwhp 408, f1r 26psi......... Btw if I didnt have mine I would try and by your Busa. Sick bike love everything about it
Just put stomp grips on my gen2, not wild over how they look but they protect the tank really well and defiantly make it easier for me to clamp on to the bike. Really grippy but so far don't hurt my legs at all
