    oil filter

Used to use Fram on everything...now I use OEM for whichever bike/car I'm working on because in '95 I installed a Fram that was defective and the car dumped all of it's oil in 2 seconds flat, almost lost the engine. The Fram was a PH38A I think and did not have the last thread cut so it...

    Triumph cans Hayabusa rival

What cloud said... Also, what good does it do to build a 200mph bike and not be able to prove you've done it in "production" form because of the 180 limit now imposed almost everywhere? There doesn't seem to be a market for an unproven bike in the hyperbike class...duh!

    Post-Flight Inspection

After reading Big O's post about the fork seal and babuski's awsome idea of a pre-flight inspection...thought I'd throw this one at ya: Post flight inspection (the mechanics do this one babuski): 1. Run your fingers around the lower fork tube and seal to check/remove bugs & gunk (alot easier...

Something I have been meaning to bring up.

I like to use the Accu-Gauge because it's accurate to 1 psi plus it's got that cool little extension that lets you get between the rotor and wheel...but if you ever forget to release the pressure before storing it...it'll be off forever[B][I]

    Is it me or...

02 SE is a huge head turner took mine to a bike show a couple of weeks ago...about 125 bikes there...most harleys...you wouldn't believe the crowd that SE drew from the harley types....seems they were a little scared to approach it though, they just kinda stared from a distance i always get...

    Which is stronger?

one of the main reasons I like the busa so much (other than the fact it IS the most legendary bike to come along since the Manx Norton or the Vincent Black Shaddow) is that it's as refined as a bike can get without the BLAness of a Honda. Look at the fit and finish of the outside of the bike and...

    gasoline

EAK you and I could really have some fun with this octane business, thermo was a killer in college but it's hellafun to talk about now! I've had best results from higher octanes here in the mountains....blame it on the heat in the summer, altitude, humidity, whatever.....don't agree with the...

    Runnin' Rich?

    1. Make sure your air filter is not saturated with filter oil...common problem with first-time K&N users. 2. If it's cold outside what you are seeing could be water vapor, which is normal 3. Any engine without converters will smell ritch compared to one with, especially on start-up...

VaBusa, How does it handle low? Tip-in easier or harder? Do you drag hard parts sooner? Looks great...I like the low stock screen too! Later!
