run around 10:1 compression for best street results. a 52 thou base gasket works well on Gen 1 or 2, it gives more comp on gen 2 but if you pull the ign back you won't detonate and it will run really well.
you need to strap the plenum down, not rely on the hoses to hold it all together. We have plenums that don't use hoses or clamps now, check out our facebook.
