I have seen low 8.90s on gen2 busas and 14s and i believe 8.89 has been done on a gen2. Stock motors with decked heads for higher compression, the usual bolt ons, swb foot shifted, and average rider weight is about 120pds. It can be done but its not easy.:beerchug:
Sounds like your talking about the real street class. It is a very tough and highly contested class but very fun. 7.90s-8.0s consistent will keep you up front, at least last year lol :beerchug:
You will be able to pour it in and run it. If you have brocks exhaust he has maps for the mr fuel he can send you. The stuff works, we put it in an 08 gix 1k and picked up almost two tenths and a few mph.
There is a hayabusa specfic section on the instructions, it helps you set the values to the right numbers. I have the wego 4 and a gen 2 but install is all the same. I got my rpm signal off the coil and tps is the same wire you hook up to for a pc3. I belive its the pink wire off the tps sensor.
Yeah ive heard many of horror stories. This is the second time its happen to me, i am done with one inch pans. It looks like i will have the motor done, and good to hear the weather will be nice !!
Ill be there, I just have to do a quick rebuild on my rst bike. My 1 inch pan swinging pick up stuck and hurt my motor this weekend at the Mirock race. I sure hope i can get it done in time.
Heres my white and red gen 2 color scheme we came up with. The pics dont do the colors justice, in person it looks alot better. Love the red-white color combo !!
Im 25, and plan on racing until i cant ride a bike anymore. Then i will most likely convert a wheel chair and retrofit a turbo busa motor into it and terrorize the retirement home.
Around 16psi. After taking the clutch apart after this session, it was actually driving through them a tad. So with some more spring pressure it should help. I have more power than i need or can use. The bike made 412whp at about 20-21 psi and we just stopped turning it up, it had more but...
Id love to throw a leg over that kawi !! Its very true, you learn alot as you go. That bike should be one of a kind once you get done with it ! That crazy 8s class sounds like its gonna be alot of fun, i know alot of people are running it. Good Luck at the MIR ! Keep in touch :beerchug:
