I just put the r77 slip-ons on a few weeks ago. Like the others said, no drilling... It took about twenty minutes for each pipe. I've added about a thousand miles since then and the pipes are still exactly in place.
Back in the days, I raced bigger bikes just to see how I'd do. I knew I'd lose on my 600 versus a faster bike, but half the excitement was just being in a race.
Never buy a used helmet. Do you really want to wear something someone might have sneezed in or one by a person who didn't understand the value of showers on a regular basis?

Plugging is fine until you get another tire. As long as it's in the middle and not on the side of the tire. If it comes out, the tire will stay somewhat inflated until you slow down and stop. I've done it for years. Never had a problem.
