Besides tire wear - I'm still on the stock Bridgestones and my question is on tire pressure.
My dealer suggested 34/36 psi front/back whereas the manual suggests 42 psi on both.
What's everyone running (or did run) on the stock Bridgestones ???

I'm also a newbie with about 350km (210miles) on the clock.
The manual that I have (Australia & Canada edition) recommends the following for run-in:
first 800kms (500miles) < 5500 rpm
next 800kms (500 miles) < 8000 rpm
above 1600kms < 11000rpm (obviously)

but what about using clear contact (e.g from 3M) - you know, the stuff that nice school girls use to cover their books.
At least with this you retain the color scheme on the tank. The question is whether this would peel off without taking paint with it.
