    Corbin Seat - FS

I'm interested in the seat. Why are you selling it if you don't mind me asking?

King Atlas, I'm trying to workout the babysitting thing now. I'll probably end up bringing my wife but that's probably a good thing. With that much testosterone and power in the same place, who knows what might happen :) I'll give you a call.

We'll put something together soon. Curious, Diablo sounds cool. It's pretty central to everyone. You know how hard it is to get everyone's schedule together though. Ambush, are you a member of any MC's there in San Leandro? [This message has been edited by pwr+cntrl (edited 08 August 2000).]

Ambush, Where do you hang out at? I live in Vacaville and have a '00 Blu and silver. I have a partner with a copper one and a another partner with a stretched red and grey.

    Finally happened to me...

Here's a pic, (not a very good one) of the bike with the center stand up. Notice the longer "hero blobs" on the pegs. http://www.dlsi.org/hayabusa/busa_rightside.jpg

Bimmerbusa, Here is a pic of mine with the center stand. It makes it so much easier to work on the bike. It was about $110.00 from the dealer. http://www.dlsi.org/hayabusa/busa_fullview.jpg

    Headset communicators

I've heard great things about the Chatter Box HJC-FRS system. It is supposed to have a range of up to 2 miles. Check out this link: http://www.hjc-chatterbox.com/

Pics of rim with outer black paint removed

For well under $10.00 for the supplies, it's one of the most economical ways to make a big change in the appearance of the bike. Does anyone know if the rear handle is aluminum? I'm thinking I may try this process on it also.

    Stock Hayabusa...Anyone??

Posted pics of my "stocker" with polished rims: http://www.dlsi.org/hayabusa/busa_fullview.jpg Posted pic of a not so stock busa: http://www.dlsi.org/hayabusa/copper_busa.jpg

I'm not quite finished buffing the rims yet but here is a picture: http://www.dlsi.org/hayabusa/busa_fullview.jpg Notice the complete opposite of the busa in the background - the family grocery getter. Here's a pic of a copper and gray busa at Sacrmento Raceway taken yesterday...

    PAIR fell off tonight.

Kirk, You bike was backfiring? So was mine. What do you think caused it?

    Stock Hayabusa...Anyone??

My '00 blu and silver is completely stock except for the rims. I took Martins advice and removed the black paint from the outer part. The performance is already great. I agree that modifications to the engine usually result in a trade off for something else.

That's was me! I think I saw you once before. Did you get yours from Bret at Powersports in Vallejo? I got mine in Petaluma at Cycle West. I live in Vacaville and work in Napa. Busa's a great commute bike. What kinda mods have you done? All I've done so far is try to polish the outside...

I was in Napa yesterday, 21 Jul, and waved at a guy riding a blue busa coming down Soscol (I think). Was that you? I had on a black helmet and the other guy had on a silver Arai.
