Factory--for grins I ran my Goldwing past a 100 and low and behold the Avocet will read past 100. Damn, now I'm thinking that maybe this might be a good idea. I'll let you know if I get one mounted.

Factory--I've used an Avocet model 35 bike computer on my other motorcycle (Honda Goldwing) for about four years. Works great and dead on target. Did have to fabricate a special sensor mount for the bottom of the fork. Not sure you can read to 200 mph, but all the other functions work great...

Spend the bucks on tools and hydraulic lift to work on the bike. Makes life a whole lot easier and it will run better because you can easily see what you are working on.

In shopping around for a new rear tire I noticed Suzuki recommends the Bridgestone Battlax BT56 J. Does anyone know if the this specific "J" tire differs from the regular BT56? Hype or does the Busa have a custom B'stone tire?

I call the dealer I bought the bike from yesterday, his response "yeah we can sell you the extended warranty its $599 for the three additional years" So I tried to reasonable negotiation with him and was pretty much told to pound sand "no dealer can sell for less than $599". It's time to shop...
