Good point with the national brand name and warranty. My 05' went 5 years on the original I don't know why this one went so soon. Maybe because the bike was a left over and sat around awhile before it was sold? Anyway thanks for all the info.

Ive been using Gunk engine cleaner for 30yrs. Works great no o ring problems. Spray, scrub, rinse, blow with backpack blower and ride around to warm it up. Lube and again every 500 miles.

I thought the more ethanol the less power available from the gas, it takes more fuel to do the same work so the mileage is worse? I have heard that the premium gas has less then the midgrade or regular for this reason too.???

Right on. I think jumping around from one power level to another could get you in trouble. I want the full dose every throttlefull.:whistle:

You would think they would lower the price go ahead and sell a few sets. You hardly ever see them. I'd like to have a set but bought a good used KTM 200 dirt bike for the same price. :thumbsup:

I always stay in A mode in case someone starts changing lanes into me I can get out of the way. I think C mode on the interstate could be a safety issue. I can't understand why Suzuki put that switch on there anyway.

IMO the Puig DB is the best combination of performance and looks on the Gen 2 and yes the fit is much tighter than the Gen 1. If you cut your seat or get a Tobin style you will sit lower in the bike and that will help with the wind some too. Gives you a place to hide in the rain too.

Have you tried to use them with the hump on instead of the passenger seat?

I got mine from DDM tuning. I ordered an extra ballast just in case one blows I have it on hand. Don't forget the LEDs for the running lights or you'll be taking things apart again in a week..

Careful your brake lever dosen't get pushed in enough to dump the bike. I used 3/4 inch risers on mine no problems.
